A SECURITY REQUIREMENT QUALITY
MEASUREMENT MODEL FOR REDUCING ECOMMERCE SECURITY RISK

ABSTRACT

E-commerce is an important business transaction system in the network age. However, the network
intrusion, malicious users, virus attack and system security vulnerabilities have continued to threaten the operation of the e-commerce, making e-commerce security encounter serious test. In order to avoid system security flaw and defect caused user great loss, how to reduce e-commerce security risk has become a topic worthy of further exploration. In this paper, the critical security requirement for the e-commerce system is investigated and deduced the compliance, availability and manageability quality characteristics for ecommerce software security requirement. Applying the quantified quality characteristics and proposes a Security Requirement Quality Measurement (SRQM) model. Based on SRQM model, the paper develops a Security Requirement Quality Improvement (SRQI) procedure to identify problem and defect of security requirement quality. And assist in timely to adjust and revise the defects of security requirement quality, enhance the e-commerce security effectively.
